Pre-Order & Special Order Policy

Pre-Orders

Pre-orders are a very normal part of the needlepoint industry, and at Stitch Sloth, we work hard to make that process as smooth and transparent as possible.

We have carefully curated our shop to offer as many in-stock canvases, threads, and accessories as possible. Many of the items marked as preorder have already been placed on order and are simply due to arrive soon. Others may be ordered specifically on your behalf depending on designer availability and inventory.

Pre-order timelines can vary greatly depending on the designer, distributor, and manufacturer, and many delays are outside of our direct control. The needlepoint industry often experiences longer lead times, trunk show scheduling, and production delays, especially for hand-painted canvases and specialty fibers.

We will always do our best to communicate estimated arrival times and keep you updated throughout the process.

Because many preorder items are placed specifically on your behalf, cancellations may not be possible once your order has been submitted to the designer, distributor, or manufacturer. If a preorder has not yet been submitted for fulfillment, cancellation requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Once a preorder has been ordered, fulfilled or shipped, it falls under our Return & Refund Policy.

Special Orders

If you see a designer we represent but do not currently have the specific canvas you are looking for, we would be happy to special order it for you.

Just because a canvas is not listed as a standard product on our site does not mean we cannot get it. If the designer is one we carry, we can often place a special order for you.

Special-order canvases placed on your behalf receive 10% off and 20% off for StitchSloth.com app members. These are  subject to our final sale policy. Email us for special orders: info@stitchsloth.com and we will invoice you with the discounted price. 

Special orders, personalized items, and customized products are made specifically for you and are not eligible for cancellation, return, or refund once the order has been placed.

This includes personalized bags, special-order canvases, custom thread packs, and similar made-to-order products.

Canvas Kitting Services

Canvas Kitting Services require an upfront reservation fee to secure your kitting spot.

Once your kitting service has been purchased and processing has begun, cancellations are not available. The service fee is applied toward your final thread purchase and is non-refundable once work has started.
